Rural Goddess Returns & Exchange Policy
At Rural Goddess, we take pride in creating premium-quality garments and ensuring every customer enjoys their purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, we offer exchanges or store credit subject to the terms below.
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To qualify for an exchange or gift card, items must:
- Be unworn, unused, and unwashed.
- Have all original tags attached.
- Be returned in their original condition and packaging.
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase
- To start a return, you can contact us at info@ruralgoddess.co.za. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as for instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Upon inspection and approval, Rural Goddess will arrange one of the following:
- A replacement item;
- An exchange; or
- A Rural Goddess Gift Card.
Exchanges & Store Credit
Items may be returned within 7 days of receiving your order for either:
- An exchange for a different size (subject to availability), or
- A Rural Goddess Gift Card valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
No Refund Policy
Rural Goddess does not offer refunds.
Approved returns will be exchanged or issued as a Rural Goddess Gift Card valid for 12 months.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Upon inspection and approval, Rural Goddess will arrange one of the following:
- A replacement item;
- An exchange; or
- A Rural Goddess Gift Card.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged :
- Sale or clearance items marked as Final Sale
- Custom-made or personalised garments
- Gift cards and vouchers
- Items returned outside the 7-day return period
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for exchanges and store credit requests.
- Rural Goddess will cover return shipping costs for approved faulty or incorrectly supplied items.
How to Request a Return
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and provide:
- Your order number
- Proof of purchase
- Reason for the return
- Photographs (where applicable)
Once approved, we will provide return instructions.
